Visit of the Federal Government to the Federal Constitutional Court

Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, together with other members of the Federal Government, visited the Federal Constitutional Court at the invitation of its President Andreas Voßkuhle on 24 October 2018. The visit continues the tradition of meetings between the two constitutional organs, which has been cultivated for years and fosters the exchange of ideas and experiences between the two institutions. This year’s discussions addressed the topics “The future of Europe” and “Opportunities and challenges for the state, jurisprudence and society in the digital age”.
