Since 19 November 2024, the Federal Constitutional Court has had a new website, which can be accessed at www.bundesverfassungsgericht.de in German, English and French. The redesigned website places particular emphasis on further improving the site’s accessibility and aims to provide visitors with unrestricted access to its contents.
The Federal Constitutional Court now also publishes English translations of selected decisions rendered over the course of the Court’s history. The decisions are grouped into various chapters. The chapters on European law, international law, human dignity and the general right of personality are available now; further chapters will be added subsequently. The Selected Decisions project aims to facilitate broader access to distinct lines of constitutional case-law for international readers.
Over the next few months, Spanish content will also be added to the Court's new website.
