Today the Federal Constitutional Court published its 2024 annual report, which is available in German and English.
The core theme in the 2024 edition of the annual report is the Federal Constitutional Court’s role as a court for state matters, including the tasks that this role involves. Other topics covered are the growing digitalisation of different steps in the workflow at the Court as well as the Court’s new website. Moreover, the report offers a digest of selected Senate decisions from last year, provides visualised data on the number of proceedings and includes further detail on the Court, its Justices and staff members. A succinct overview of cases that the Court expects to decide in 2025 concludes the report.
