On 19 October 2026, a delegation from the Constitutional Court of Ecuador headed by its President, Prof. Dr. Jhoel Escudero Soliz, visited the Federal Constitutional Court. The guests were received by President Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M. (Yale), Vice-President Prof. Dr. Ann-Katrin Kaufhold and other members of the Court. Apart from providing an opportunity for both courts to share general experiences, the working sessions addressed questions concerning the organisation of deliberations and oral hearings, the drafting of court decisions, and digitalisation.
