To mark the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, an international conference titled ‘The Role of Constitutional Courts in Safeguarding Democracy and the Democratic Functioning of Institutions’ was held in Pristina on 22 October 2026.
As part of the opening of the international conference, the President of the Federal Constitutional Court, Prof. Dr. Stephan Harbarth, LL.M. (Yale), delivered the keynote speech as the guest of honour of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo, Nexhmi Rexhepi.
During his visit to Pristina, the President of the Federal Constitutional Court also met with the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka-Pula.
